International Lyric Competition “Città di Saluzzo”
International Opera Theater is a proud partner of the International Lyric Competition “Città di Saluzzo”, which takes place every two years in Saluzzo, Italy.
As a result of this collaboration, in 2010 IOT brought to Philadelphia the winners of the first edition of the competition, to make their debut in the world premiere of “Decameron”, at the Prince Music Theater.
“Decameron” was then presented in Italy in 2011, where after opening in the region of Umbria, it was performed in Saluzzo, with the very same winners.
The next edition of the competition will take place in Saluzzo, in november 2012.
